Employee Supervision and training
Employees undergo a comprehensive orientation and are supplied with employee handbooks to ensure clear understanding of all company policies and procedures.  Continued education units are provided by Apex for staff relevant to issues and medical conditions in homecare every month.  Supervision of all staff is done quarterly by a registered nurse. Onsite monitoring is done yearly by the Executive Office of Elders for compliance with all state and federal guidelines for employees and clients.  The Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development reviews employee and client records yearly for state and federal payroll compliance.  Apex Healthcare is licensed by the Department of Labor Standards.
