Apex Home Care is a Springfield Massachusetts-based, family-owned home care agency that offers non-medical home care services. Services include personal care, light housekeeping, prescription pick-up and grocery shopping. We help ensure that the evolving needs of each client are addressed according to their individual plan of care and regularly supervise the services our caregivers provide.

History

Founded by Cheryl Rumley, RN in 1999, Apex Home Care is 100 percent woman-owned business (WBE). The State Office of Minority and Women Business Assistance is an agency within the Massachusetts Department of Economic Development which promotes the development of certified minority business enterprises (MBE), women owned (WBE) business enterprises, and minority non-profit (M/NPO) and women (W/NPO) non-profit organizations. It does this by facilitating their participation in Massachusetts business and economic development opportunities. Specifically, SOMWBA offers services in certification, enforcement, business assistance and advocacy. WBE Certification is a nationally recognized and accepted designation for businesses that are at least 51% owned, managed and controlled by a woman or women.
